Happenings Around The Halls Of AREA O2

It has been a fun time here at AREA O2. We recently finished a broadcast commercial for the Vegas market for Sleep Apnea TMJ of Nevada. The spot was shot for JB Creative (a great small agency). We shot the spot on a small stage with with great lighting, HD and the AREA O2 JIBoTRON 5000. It looks very nice!
Another fun project we did was project manage the audio for a new educational teddy bear being manufactured in China to be sold in the U.S. The project was for Aigo Digital Solutions in the USA and China.
We ended up using Brad Rowen voiceover god of Boise, Idaho and the voice of Randy Thomas who is a voiceover talent for The Insider, Entertainment Tonight and The Academy Awards. She has a dynamite voice if I do say so.
I lost ten pounds this summer lugging the JIB arm up a trail on the Sawtooth Mountains for the Department of Lands video we shot for Donahoe Pace and Partners. The eight minute video was shown to the approval of the Idaho Guv. The video will be shown throughout the state of Idaho as part of an education and P.R. piece.
And among a few other projects, we rolled out a website called www.gadbolt.com which showcases nature videos on DVD and ambient sound discs. AREA O2 oversaw the complete production of the project which includes rich web visuals and moving video.
We have added a new internal interactive department we call “AREA O2 Fluid.” It’s an awesome addition to the video department giving us a seamless integration opportunity for video and web. Expect to see our new website rollout in the coming weeks.
Here at AREA O2 we have heard the many rumbling of the sour economy and spending cuts. However, we are excited about the opportunities presented in this period of challenge. Marketers tend to look at wasteful spending more carefully. They want more value, measured results, and they want to move the meter.
