Poyunwang was born in Taiwan and emigrated to Canada when he was 12 years old. He is passionate about design and illustration that allow him to turn what he observed into his own creation. He also became the first Taiwanese designer that collaborated with Mighty Jaxx. The methodology of his work is adding playful and unexpected elements onto iconic characters. For The Doortrooper collection, the design was inspired by Door God in Chinese religious culture.
