To maintain the transaction quality on the AREA 02 platform and protect the rights and interests of both buyers and sellers, we have established the Seller Security Deposit System as a mechanism for seller verification and transaction protection.
The deposit is not a platform fee, commission, or annual membership fee. It is used solely for risk control during transactions and will be fully refundable once the refund conditions are met.Purpose The seller security deposit will only be used under the following circumstances:
Violation of platform listing or transaction regulations
Malicious order cancellation, failure to ship, or significant shipping delays
Providing incorrect items (items not matching the description)
Damaged or defective products
Incomplete product accessories
If a special notice is issued requiring the payment of an order processing fee, the seller must complete the payment within 15 days from the notification date. If the payment is not made within this period, the amount will be automatically deducted from the security deposit. Except for the situations listed above, the platform will not use the seller's security deposit. If a seller stops cooperating with the platform or their account is closed, and there are no pending orders, disputes, or violation records, the seller may apply for a refund of the security deposit. After review and approval by the platform, the full amount will be refunded.Deposit Standard

Amount: NT$3,000
Studio Sellers (Registered capital ≤ NT$5,000,000)
Amount: NT$5,000
Corporate Sellers (Registered capital > NT$5,000,000)
Amount: NT$10,000
Refund If the seller voluntarily terminates their selling privileges on this platform and has fully fulfilled all orders, they may apply for a deposit refund before the 10th of the month. The full deposit will be refunded on the 25th of the same month.
If there are any violations of the seller terms or other situations requiring a deduction from the deposit, the matter will be handled in accordance with the Seller Agreement.
Please be advised that AREA 02 retains sole discretion in making determinations concerning the aforementioned policies and procedures.
