DUNK has energized basketball culture since 1985. The upper took cues from the Air Jordan I and the Nike Terminator which also designed by Peter Moore in 1980. During the summer of 1985, Nike created College Colors program, Be True To Your School, by using Dunk as the signature model that bring the bold color scheme to basketball shoes design. The latest addition to NIKE’s “SUN CLUB” collection, this special makeup of the DUNK LOW starts off with an eco-friendly construction that utilizes both tumbled leather and textiles. Defining features include the “SUN CLUB” branded tongue tags, the shark fin Swooshes and the Volt insoles housing NIKE’s pinwheel logo. A Grind Rubber sole, White laces and Nike’s palm tree sketch on the inside of the tongue round out the main features of the sneaker.
