AIR FORCE 1 was created by designer Bruce Kilgore and first introduced in 1982. It is also the first basketball shoe equipped air bag in NIKE history. Then AIR FORCE 1 undoubtedly became the sneaker icon in basketball culture. Clean and stitched overlays and the perfect finish completes the street hoop look.
Nike has already taken initiative by giving a GS-exclusive Nike Air Force 1 LV8 a varsity-style makeover featuring embroidered details and sporty fonts. White tumbled leather dominates the base for a near triple-white aesthetic. Similar to the lettering found on a letterman’s jacket, the pink profile Swooshes are animated by navy embroidered outlines. Varsity themes continue with “Just Do It” printed on the lateral side of the heel in a cursive font that mimics the look of embroidery. Even the red Nike logos on the tongue and heel tab are stylized similarly to maintain the letterman’s jacket aesthetic. A white “NIKE” enamel lace dubrae and light brown outsole complete the style for a BTS-ready arrangement.
