AIR FORCE 1 was created by designer Bruce Kilgore and first introduced in 1982. It is also the first basketball shoe equipped air bag in NIKE history. Then AIR FORCE 1 undoubtedly became the sneaker icon in basketball culture. Clean and stitched overlays and the perfect finish completes the street hoop look.
NIKE SPORTSWEAR’s ode to the swoosh logo hasn’t been announced, but the “First Use” collection has recently added a Nike Air Force 1 to its growing roster. Akin to a recently-surfaced AIR MAX 90ir Max 90, the forthcoming take on Bruce Kilgore’s iconic design indulges in a “University Blue/White/Deep Royal Blue” color palette. Unlike most iterations of the once-basketball-court-classic, the latest style indulges in a smooth leather base overlaid with suede swathes.
